What we store
There is no sign-up or login. We do not ask for personal data such as your name, email or phone number.
Language: your choice is kept in a browser cookie (lang) for one year.
Anonymous ID: the first time you like or comment, your browser creates a random ID and keeps it. The server uses it to count your like once and to let only you edit your own comments. The ID alone cannot identify you.
Likes: post address, type, anonymous ID.
Comments: nickname (if given), text, time, anonymous ID. When you report a comment we record which comment was reported by which anonymous ID.
IP addresses are not stored. They are counted in memory for one minute only, to stop floods of requests.
Automatic comment review
When a comment is posted, edited or reported, it is checked automatically for abuse (harassment, hate, threats, exposing personal data, spam).
This check is done by Anthropic's Claude model. The comment text (including the nickname) is sent to Anthropic, whose privacy policy applies. Nothing else is sent.
If a comment is judged abusive it is hidden and the same anonymous ID can no longer comment. If you think this was a mistake, write to the address below.
Third-party services
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes connection data (such as IP addresses) for security and performance under its own policy.
YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Playing a video may set cookies under Google's policy.
Retention and deletion
Likes and comments are deleted together with their post. You can delete your own comments from the same browser.
The language cookie and the anonymous ID can be removed by clearing this site's data in your browser.
To remove records left on our server, email [email protected] with the anonymous ID shown in your browser console.
